As a certified Microsoft® Project Partner, we specialize in implementing Microsoft® Project solutions. We provide project management solutions ranging from a simple Microsoft® Project desktop solution to Enterprise Project Server solutions and integration or update business processes to support such solutions.

Microsoft® Project is a full-featured, albeit unforgiving, application which allows a user to enter or change information very easily. For the inexperienced user, or user without in depth knowledge of the tool, these changes frequently yield an unexpected answer with no guidance as to "the why" or "the what" to do about it. However, when Microsoft® Project is integrated with a solid project management process, as we have done with the product, it becomes a powerful and useful tool for managing projects and the results become very predictable and consistent. We have developed, and repeatedly implemented, sound PM methodologies, templates, procedures, and training that integrates MS Project into the process and allows detailed management and accurate analysis of the project. We understand that PM tools will not work, regardless of their sophistication, without a sound PM methodology and process in place. Edwards Project Solutions has the proven technical expertise and experience in Project Management Office configuration and setup using toolsets that include Microsoft® Project.

Through our current federal government and commercial contracts, we provide full life cycle support to many programs and Program Management Offices.

Solutions we have provided include:

• Support to the re-engineering of business practices to improve the operational readiness as well as providing research, analysis, financial management, and project management services.
• Assistance to PricewaterhouseCoopers in designing and implementing a project schedule management and tracking system that utilizes Microsoft® Project. For this system, we designed the architecture and developed the procedures that allowed multiple project schedules. These schedules contained detailed task activities to be independently accessed and managed by multiple project managers while maintain links between individual project schedules as well as to a master program schedule across a local area network.
• Design and implementation of an enterprise scheduling, tracking, issues tracking, risk management, and document management and retrieval system.
